Lekgona is your number one rigging, lifting, crane hire, demolition, construction, transportation and plant hire company based in the Gauteng Province of South Africa. Our team consists of highly experienced individuals with a total combination of more than 15 years in the industry.
We have worked in many diverse environments including mines, construction sites, power stations, windfarms, warehouses, residential areas and more.
Our team members hold relevant qualifications like red seal certificates for mobile and crawler cranes, and LMI certificates. Our training is not only limited to our South African or African boarder, we’ve done workshops abroad like Germany (Groove Workshop) training to operate the biggest crane machine (330 tone). We are the first people to do product familiarization training in South Africa (LTM 1300-6.2 Mobile crane).
When it comes to the demolition and construction industry, we offer comprehensive services and we have invested in innovative and cutting-edge technology to effectively carry out tasks in the most affordable and efficient way possible. It is with this approach that we earned the ranking of the most efficient Demolition team in Gauteng. All our teams are trained and Qualified within the industry standards.
History Emphasis
Lekgona started off as merely a crane hire, lifting and rigging company with less than 5 staff on board. More than 10 years later and Lekgona has now become a diverse and multi-purpose company that not only deals with Crane Hire, Lifting and Rigging but now also does Demolition, Construction, Plant Hire, Transportation and Logistics.
Our team has grown to over 30 members. Within the team we now have, Qualified Riggers with Red Seal Certificates, Boilermakers, Welders, Safety Officers, Machine Operators, Truck Drivers, Construction Personnel, Engineers and lots of General Labor.
Lekgona has and will always strive to contribute to society, be it in the conservation of the environment, in enhancing the safety of it's employees and the public in general and also in job creation.
